What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sourcing Administrator position at Watts Regulator Company?
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Support Admin for all new Supplier/Adds, PO entry, and price changes to US QAD in collaboration with Senior Sourcing Facilities Assistant (approximately twenty (20) to fifty(50) per week) Mass price updates to QAD for Global Commodity Leader (G.C.L.) requirements (approximately (5) five to (10) ten per week) Purchase Requisition Processing for tooling requirements to support G.C.L. projects (approximately five (5) per week) Support Admin for all new Supplier changes, updates, or additions in Palette in collaboration with Senior Sourcing Facilities Assistant Responsible for communicating all manufacturing alerts to suppliers that are processed between all sites (Approximately fifteen (15) to thirty (30) per week) Provide expediting support and new project support to G.C.L.’s, including, but not limited to Drawing Pulls/Request for Quote (RFQ) initiation for G.C.L. approval Placing orders on Dell, CDW, and other websites for Corporate information technology (IT) equipment ProFax-Undeliverable PO’s to all sites and daily review and reconciliation of failed transmissions Daily monitoring of the “Purchasing A00” inbox to ensure all PO’s were delivered via email Contact suppliers to ensure that we have correct information on file for the phone number, fax number, email, and other relevant details Draft and send mass mailing communication to suppliers Review and send daily report to Sourcing Manager for approval on vendor add/changes to suppliers. Ability to independently prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong level of discretion, professionalism, personal ownership, and attention to detail. Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook required. Finance and knowledge of ERP systems are a big plus. Ability to take initiative and anticipate things ahead of time. Excellent follow-through skills. Team-player mindset. Working Conditions Work in an office or manufacturing environment *Physical Requirements While performing the duties, the employee will be working in an office environment with exposure to the plant floor as well as the Engineering Test Facility. The employee is required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle objects and other tools. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
