What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Engineering Assistant position at Waupaca County?
This is a responsible engineering position involving assistance in the application of technical skills performed in the field or in the office. Work involves assistance in the engineering of projects such as drainage ditches, highways, storm sewers, bridges, road resurfacing, and associated surveying and drafting. Work is performed in accordance with departmental procedures and accepted professional standards. Work will involve assistance to the Highway Department either with direct or general supervision. Work may involve contact with other county employees and the general public.
Perform all work in a safe, efficient, and expedient manner.
Perform other related Department tasks as assigned.
WORK WEEK:
Monday - Thursday 6am - 4pm;
Some Fridays - work permitting if available
Minimum Qualifications:
- 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- College student in Civil Engineering or Land Surveying, or related field major;
OR High School student with interest in Civil Engineering or Land Surveying. - Valid Wisconsin Driver's License required.
Salary : $17 - $17
