What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inpatient Dept - Med/Surg Tele RN- Full Time - Third Shift position at Wayne Hospital Company?
This position is a Med/Surg position, working 7p-7a and 12 hour shifts and requires every third weekend rotation. Holiday and weekend hours are also 12 hour shifts. This position is 72 hours per pay period. The applicant will be cross trained to other departments within the facility so they are able to float to the units.
Qualifications:
- Currently licensed to practice in the State of Ohio
- BSN preferred
- Current BLS Certification required
- Previous Med/Surg experience preferred
- Critical care experience preferred
Skill and Ability:
- Interpersonal and analytical skills necessary to function under the current standards of nursing practices
- Physically able to perform the functions of the position
- ACLS certification required within 6 months to one year of hire
- PALS certification required within one-two years of hire
- Maintains all required qualifications for area assigned
- Cardiac Arrhythmia Interpretation course required within one year of hire
- Experience with management of ventilators preferred
- Chemo/PICC lines experience preferred but not required
- All other duties as assigned
