What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inpatient Dept - Nursing Assistant - Part Time - 3rd Shift position at Wayne Hospital Company?
This nursing assistant position is a part-time position working 12 hour shifts for 24 hours per week, holiday and weekend requirements. The position will be cross-trained to other units if needed. The position reports to the Director of In-Patient Services.
Qualifications:
- 6 months’ experience in a health care environment desired.
- Current CPR certification or successful completion upon hire to the position.
- Computer skills to meet the needs of the position.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Prefer satisfactory completion of a current Nursing Assistant/Aide course.
- Basic computer skills.
Skill and Ability:
- Should obtain minimal level of proficiency of tasks through experience by the end of three months.
- Requires high level of mental alertness to avoid error and negative consequences to patients.
- Physical abilities must allow for frequent working, stooping, bending, and frequent lifting and moving of patients.
- All other duties as assigned
