Job Summary/Basic Function
Members of the street team spread awareness of The Signpost, increase circulation and generate revenue by engaging in the following activities:
- Handing out copies of the newspapers in high-traffic areas.
- Distributing give-away items for advertisers on campus.
- Posting ads on kiosks located throughout campus.
- Tabling at on-campus events such as block party, Grad Finale and other opportunities to increase the visibility of The Signpost.
- Deliver special editions of the paper—financial aid and Waldo’s World—to high schools in Weber and Davis counties.
Required Qualifications
Must be a WSU student during the academic school year.
If driving, applicants must have a valid driver’s license and Weber State safe driving certification.
