What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility/Grounds Worker position at Weirton Medical Center?
Groundskeepers Maintain hospital grounds including lawns, gardens, water ponds, driveways, parking lots, sidewalks and entrance ways. Groundskeepers mow lawns, trims shrubs and weeds hospital lawns. Groundskeepers remove snow and ice from driveways, parking lots, sidewalks and hospital entrances.
High school graduate or GED equivalent. Physical effort required including standing, stooping, pulling, pushing and lifting. Valid drivers license.
On-Call requirement during the winter months for snow removal.
No experience necessary. Three months on-the-job training provided by hospital.
