Job Purpose
• Providing service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
• Managing all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
• Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions
Duties and Responsibilities
• Trains customer personnel in use of equipment and maintains high level of focus on customer satisfaction.
• Supervises and/or installs and services equipment by having extensive knowledge of refrigeration, electrical, controllers, hydraulics, calibrators, and pneumatics. Provides telephone technical assistance as required.
• Travels throughout North America and Worldwide when required.
• Performs training sessions at Service Seminars or at customer facilities.
• Interacts with Engineering Department regarding in-house and field equipment failures. Provides for good customer relations.
• Assists local service companies with complications. Implements design changes in field and diagnoses unit control problems. Documents field trips and properly records paperwork.
• Capable of reading and understanding test reports and prioritizing workloads. Must be capable of driving a forklift. Knowledge of electrical safety policies, including lock-out/tag-out, and EPA refrigeration certification. Qualifications

• Proven track record of excellent troubleshooting experience
• Be willing to train others as required and possess the ability to understand shop pick lists and travel related to his/her job and accurately report time to job assignments.
• Must be capable of reading and understanding SOP’s and FDA/GMP’s and willing to work in an office environment or travel up to 4 weeks per month as required.
• Two year degree or comparable experience required. Minimum Class II EPA certification and 3-5 years of A/C or Refrigeration and Electrical experience.
• Have working knowledge of CRM database and Visual Manufacturing to review and enter data.
• Working knowledge of computer systems, e.g. Industrial Engineering drives, latest version of Windows OS, MS Outlook, and Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Working Conditions Mostly standing work. Frequently lifting up to 25 lbs, occasionally lifting up to 100 lbs. (Lifting more than 50 lbs overhead must be performed by using mechanical aids; if mechanical aids are not available, the lift will be performed by two employees in a team lift.) Detailed work with hands; fine work, simple grasping and pushing and pulling. Position may involve bending, squatting, climbing, crawling, reaching, and twisting with occasional kneeling. Significant portions of travel time may involve extended sedentary periods. Subject to weather and adverse driving conditions when outside. As needed, will work at a desk and a computer screen for extended periods of time. Must be able to manually enter data to the computer system and understand the screen and images that appear.
