What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tubular Coordinator position at Wellbore Integrity?
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complies with all Company & Regulatory HS&E & Quality and IT standards and policies. Wears all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required & maintains required HS&E & SQ certifications up-to-date.
- Complies with the requirements of various specifications such as Phosphating Procedure and the DRILCO Machine Shop Services Procedures Manual and is both knowledgeable and competent in their use and application.
- Operates forklift to load and unload trucks and racks with tubular products in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensures all loading and unloading areas are free of personnel prior to loading or unloading tubular products
- Manages consumable inventory levels to ensure all supplies needed are in stock
- Operates and maintains thread protector cleaner, phosphate units, pipe cleaner, conveyor systems,
- Maintains safe and organized storage areas for drill pipe and down hole tools in storage yard and service areas
- Performs Risk Analysis (e.g. HARC, JSA) before each job or task and identifies & addresses potential safety hazards. Corrects and report hazards immediately to direct supervisor
- Conducts material split in TMS MRT to update location and status each time tubular products are moved
- Completes all the required pre and post job documentation and job tickets on time and without errors as per company policy
- Ensures that all completed job documentation is returned to the operating district upon completion for expedited customer billing/invoicing
- Safely and efficiently utilizes all tools and equipment to support the timely completion of assigned work orders and/or assigned duties, and to optimize throughput
- Leads and supports continuous improvement projects
- Develops technical knowledge through on the job training and certification classes
- Works with Manager to prepare for future career opportunities
- Coaches and mentors less experienced rack hand trainees
- Handles special projects as assigned
- All other duties as assigned by Supervisor
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Certified forklift operator
- Experience with Drill Pipe and Downhole Tools preferred
- Minimum of one-year experience in related field
- Must be willing to work long hours and be on call 24 hours/day
- Knowledge of hand power tools, (i.e. grinders)
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Excellent work ethic, demonstrated by a positive attitude and completing your work on time
- Basic computer skills, MS Word, Outlook, Excel & Power Point
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
- Strong communication skills, including verbal, written and nonverbal communication
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
