The Senior Lead Data Management Analyst in CIB will be the expert in domain and agile initiatives within CIB trading domain and will work very closely with the Product leaders and CIB APP data asset owner to execute multi-year roadmap for the CIB Data domain strategy and enablement. The role will wear multiple hats ranging from Kanban Management, business analysis, conceptual and logical product modeling, working in the agile construct and presenting to leaders within the group. This is a high visibility role and will span across multiple product streams, directing team members within the product and technology teams.
In this role, you will:
- Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence objectives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex business and technical needs
- Design and conduct complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality or integrity issues and to identify and remediate process or control gaps
- Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking
- Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality
- Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions
- Recommend remediation of process or control gaps that align to management strategy
- Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership
- Represent client in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies
- Partner with groups companywide to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution
Required Qualifications, US:
- 7 years of Data Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge and understanding of financial products such as: Securities & Derivatives, Collateral, Margins, Investments and Securities Financing
- Experience working with Corporate Risk, Corporate Finance and Middle Office
- Expert data analysis skills
- 6 years of SQL experience
- Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile
- Strong attention to details
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong presentation skills with ability to analyze metrics and articulate data trends both visually and verbally, and articulate complex concepts to senior leadership
- Experience operating effectively in a geographically dispersed organization
- Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
