As a Parent Education Provider, you will:
- Maintain face to face contact with families according to the contract defined frequency and the individual needs of the family.
- Provide skills training using the curriculum, including but not limited to: physical and emotional aspects of child development; communication; setting limits and child management; alternatives to corporal punishment; active listening; conflict resolution; family rules; helping children with feelings; etc.
- Refer families/make collateral contact to community services.
- Prepare written reports to DHHS as required within the expected time frames.
- Safety plan with families to reduce risk
- Observe and respond to early signs of abuse and neglect
- Assure stable transportation plan, including transport in your own vehicle as necessary.
