Entry Level Equipment Operator

Job Description:

• Our entry-level Machine Operator Trainee/Utility position is designed for self-motivated individuals who will advance into progressively skilled positions.
• As a trainee, you may be trained to function in various roles, including cleanup and operating machinery, forklifts, or other equipment assigned by the supervisor.
• Possess or demonstrate the capability to operate machine centers efficiently at productive rates without assistance.
• Meet all quality specifications for assigned areas and related equipment.
• Support our culture of safety by adhering to mill safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Ability to work outdoors in all temperatures in loud, high-volume environments performing physical tasks throughout the shift
• Perform tasks according to West Fraser safety policies and procedures
• Work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends
• Preferably six (6) months in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Salary : $40,000 - $65,000
