The Administrative Services - Mailroom division of the West Virginia Offices of the Insurance Commissioner provides support services for the entire agency.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing the following duties:
- Under general supervision, this position is responsible for the efficient handling, distribution, and coordination of mail services across the Department of Revenue’s Offices of the Insurance Commissioner.
- Opening and sorting incoming mail for appropriate distribution, delivering mail and supplies to designated areas, and collecting outgoing mail for delivery to the post office.
- Transporting packages between state agencies, private vendors, and local law firms.
- Maintaining detailed logs of receipts, deliveries, and will operate various types of office equipment, including but not limited to: laptop, copy machine, and mail metering machine.
- Monitoring and fulfilling submissions to a unit specific mailbox.
- Handling of confidential mailings and West Virginia Treasury Department deposits.
- A valid West Virginia driver’s license is required.
- Other duties as assigned.
