ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are hiring for a full-time Golf Shop Attendant to join our Golf department. The Golf Shop Attendant will be responsible for providing all Members and Guests with an exceptional golf shop experience. This will be achieved through participating in all facets of daily golf shop operations, assisting Members and Guests with department/store related inquiries, and maintaining a pristine and seamless golf shop at all times.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Golf Shop Attendant must complete all tasks and assignments assigned by the Director of Golf and/or Head Professional, including but not limited to:
- Work directly with Golf Shop Manager and Golf Shop team members to maintain a first-class Golf Shop for all Members and Guests
- Maintain a high level of visibility and interaction in and around the Golf Shop, ensuring a pleasant and positive experience for all Members and Guests
- Maintain active knowledge golf department activities and events, promoting and supporting to Members and Guests
- Execute all in-place golf department communication and marketing plans
- Assist Golf Shop Manager with merchandise inventory as needed
- Assist Golf Shop Manager in executing attractive and appealing merchandise presentations
- Assist in stock room maintenance as needed
- Assist with product and/or golf department questions as necessary
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Prior experience working in a pro shop preferred
- Must possess demonstrated knowledge of and ability in the game of Golf and all applicable rules
- Demonstrated computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and Publisher
- Demonstrated ability to multitask in a high-volume atmosphere
- Must be self-motivated, with a demonstrated passion for Golf, with the desire to promote the Club’s Golf Shop Must maintain a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable presence at all times
PAY RANGE
$16.00-20.00 hourly compensation, commensurate with experience
