Western Express, Inc is recruiting for a Trailer Technician to join our Maintenance team. We are looking for candidates with mechanical aptitude and a drive to learn, with the goal of advancement within the department. Western Express is an asset-based trucking company headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee with terminals and facilities located across the United States. We offer competitive benefits package, excellent pay, fun environment, and opportunity for growth within the company. This is a full-time position scheduled 45 hours weekly. Principle Duties Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair fleet of dry van and flatbed semi-truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components Preventative maintenance to include preventative, warrantable and accident related repairs Inspection of suspension, wheel-end, braking and structural components to match company and DOT specifications Test equipment for performance issues Must be self-motivated, punctual, and eager to learn Work Experience Must have a minimum of two years of verifiable experience in the trailer repair industry Tooling is required; applicable to repairs listed in job description.
