We are seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join the WFX team. If you are looking for an opportunity to grow with a company, and have customer service or clerical experience, this is the opportunity for you. This position will can be either Thursday-Monday or Friday-Tuesday 7am to 5pm
Job Duties:
- Work with Customer Service Representatives and Load Planners to ensure smooth daily operation
- Act as a point of contact for customers as needed
- Monitor shipping of loads
- Data entry of new freight
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 1 -2 years of Customer Service or Clerical experience (Transportation preferred but not required)
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service; attitude should make customers look forward to dealing with Western Flyer even when the circumstances are not ideal.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given prescribed routines, and standard accepted practice.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
- Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on telephone
