Salary Range:10.00 To 10.00 (USD) Hourly

We are seeking a Welt Stitcher to support our production operations by securing the welt material to the insoles. This role is essential to maintaining our standards of craftsmanship and ensuring consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Grab boot, begin peeling back-channel welt groove with spatula to attach welt.
• Firmly hold boot and attach welt to the side using welt machine.
• When finished fold down welt till straight and flat.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Driver’s License
• No prior experience necessary; training will be provided.
• Manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instruction.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
• Use of hands, tools, or equipment as required
• Repetitive motion required in welting tasks.

Work Environment:

• This is an on-site position at our facility
• Work may involve exposure to leather materials, adhesives, and mechanical equipment
• Noise level and temperature may vary depending on department

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• 6:00am-2:30pm
