What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinarian - The Whole Pet Vet Hospital (Los Gatos, CA) position at Western Veterinary Partners?
The Whole Pet Vet Hospital & Wellness Center is looking to welcome an Associate DVM to our growing practice. We are a progressive clinic with great roots in the community, providing traditional and integrative services to Los Gatos pets since 2009.
Experience and scheduling:
This is a full-time or part-time role, ideally 3 days per week (10-hour shifts). Veterinarians must be acupuncture credentialed or actively working toward becoming certified. Top preference will be given to experienced holistic veterinarians. Herbal medicine training/certification is a plus. Must be licensed (or able to become licensed) in California for consideration.
Our current DVM team:
Our founder and Medical Director, Dr. Hilary Wheeler, is a certified veterinary acupuncturist and canine rehabilitation therapist. We have four Associate DVMs, who are certified in herbal medicine, acupuncture, and chiropractic care. Outside of integrative care, our doctors hold special interests in dentistry, chronic pain management, surgery, and nurturing the human-animal bond. We also have a certified rehabilitation therapist on our team, who sees animal, pediatric, and orthopedic patients in the Bay Area. Outside of work, our doctors enjoy spending time with their families, and have a range of interests including volunteering, crafting, horseback riding, and gardening.
