Newark Veterinary Hospital is GROWING and is looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team! Our team helps provide excellent care during exams and supports clients through every step of their pet’s visit.
In this role, you’ll assist during appointments, keep medical records updated, follow treatment plans, and answer client questions. You’ll also work with the team to keep things running smoothly and on time. This role is great for someone who enjoys working with people and staying organized.
This is a full-time position, with availability needed Monday-Friday. No weekends!

- Compensation: $14-17 per hour, for each hour worked*
- Bonus package: $500 for those with 3 years of consecutive, current VA experience

- 3 years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Radiology
- Surgical and procedural set up
- Sample collection
- Inpatient care
- Phlebotomy
