Facilities Assistant - Seasonal (April - January) \$17 per hour
Overview: Assist in the upkeep and maintenance of a 50-acre estate/house
museum. In addition to maintenance, assist with the setup and breakdown
of events and programming. Schedule: - Wedding and program season:
Saturday- Wednesday - Nightwood Season (November-January)
Thursday-Sunday 3-9 pm Responsibilities: Events: - Assist in the set up
and tear down of programs at the direction of the Event Facilities
Manager. - Assist Visitor Services staff with customer inquiries
regarding the facility and grounds. - Provide directions and answer
questions for guests and program instructors. If unable to provide
immediate answers, direct them to the appropriate supervisor. - Work as
a team player with co-workers and in conjunction with other
departments. - Assist the Special Events Coordinator with onsite
preparation and trash removal for weddings and other special events. -
Assist with parking for events as needed. Facilities: - Perform daily
routine maintenance across the property, including but not limited to
sweeping steps, cart cleaning, trash rounds, and package delivery. -
Perform weekly routine maintenance across the property, including but
not limited to stable cleaning, trash can cleaning, dog waste stations,
and pest control. - Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways,
parking lots and other grounds features. - Manage cleaning supply
inventory and stock property amenities. - Manage midday public restroom
cleanings. - Operate vehicles and powered equipment. - Use hand and
power tools, such as shovels, rakes, lawn mowers, and string trimmers. -
General building maintenance. - Other duties as assigned. Necessary

departments - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision -
Flexible with the ability to multi-task in a highly demanding and

Ability to use computers and A/V equipment. - Must be able to work a
flexible schedule: - Additional hours of operation often include evening
hours for programming and special events. - Wedding events will require
occasionally working a shift of 8 to 12 hours. - Must be able to lift
and carry 50 lbs. for 25 yards - Must be 18 years of age or older - Must
have a valid driver\'s license - Must be able to work in all weather
conditions. - Weekend, evening, and holiday work required Physical
Demands: The employee is regularly required to sit and stand; push and
pull with force. The employee is occasionally required to climb and
stoop; reach with hands and arms; use hand-to- finger objects and
controls. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50
pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close
