Position Summary
The Cannabis Confectionery Technician is responsible for producing infused candy, primarily gummies, in accordance with our strict quality, safety, and compliance standards. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, this team member plays a vital role in executing daily kitchen operations, including cooking, pouring, molding, demolding, and cleaning. Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a keen eye for detail, and work well in a team-focused culture.

Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture cannabis-infused gummies and other confections
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment including cookers, mixers, molds, and racks
- Ensure accuracy of batch records, labeling, and product tracking
- Monitor product quality and report non-conforming batches
- Adhere to and help refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Support R&D and Quality Assurance teams with product testing and trials
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all production areas and tools
- Meet daily production targets and efficiency benchmarks
- Assist in packaging and other cross-functional production areas as needed
- Train new team members on equipment use and kitchen protocols
- Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors on production status and issues
- Ensure compliance with all state cannabis regulations and company policies

Qualifications
- 1 years of experience in commercial food production or cannabis kitchen preferred
- Must be an Arizona resident, 21 years or older, and eligible for a state-issued cannabis facility agent card
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Familiarity with safe food handling practices (ServSafe certification a plus)
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in PPE (gloves, masks, hairnets)
- Ability to follow directions and standard procedures consistently and safely
- Must pass a background check
