What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time - Plant Services position at White Mountain Regional Medical Center?
Type: Full-time
The Plant Services Lead Technician is responsible for providing skilled maintenance and corrective work to the facility. Building maintenance activities include but are not limited to managing fire alarm systems, plumbing, stationary engines and mechanical equipment and other auxiliary equipment to provide utility services. Through collaboration with all members of the health-care team, strives to support a patient centered culture and gain knowledge and skills to further the practice of the quality of patient services provided at WMRMC. Under the supervision of the Plant Services Manager, the Lead Technician exercises independent judgement in applying professional knowledge in performing a variety of building maintenance and operational services for the facility.
This position is safety sensitive and subject to WMRMC’s Drug & Alcohol Policy.
Full-Time With Benefits
Required Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience
Two (2) years’ experience with boiler operation, HVAC and/or electrical
Required Licensees & Certificates
CPR Certification within 30 days of hire
Valid driver’s license
Preferred Certifications
EAP Freon Certification
