Meaningful Work

As a member of our assurance team, you will be working in a team environment helping out clients solve their business issues in the non-profit, financial institutions, wholly owned subsidiaries, real estate, construction,  healthcare, and employee benefit plans industries.  You will be responsible for:

Assisting the team on all aspects of the audit engagement utilizing data analytics

  • Interacting with clients to help obtain the information necessary to complete the engagement within the designated time frame
  • Understanding and learning the audit methodology
  • Establishing an effective working relationship with our clients
  • Providing outstanding client service to our clients
  • Developing your own internal relationships with and your Whittlesey brand
  • Beginning to become involved in business development events to help identify new prospects.
  • Leading your own personal development plan to contribute to your own business acumen.

Must Haves

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university.
  • Entry level to three years’ experience required. CPA license preferred.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to multi-task and have excellent follow-up abilities.
  • Proven ability to identify problems and develop creative solutions.
  • Ability to be flexible with respect to work schedules
  • Data analytics courses or experiences
  • Attention to detail

Preferred Skills

  • Data analytics courses/certification or experiences
  • 150 hour requirement and/or master’s degree
  • CPA or equivalent certification
