We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Manager to join our Assurance team. This position is a hybrid position. Hybrid team members alternate their time between working remotely, at the office, or at client locations. Meaningful Work
- Participates in client strategic planning including analysis, plan development, recommendations, and presentations.
- Facilitate client billings to ensure write-offs are appropriate.
- Manage project budgets throughout the engagements audits by suggesting procedural improvements, establishing project budgets, and utilizing reporting and analytics for profitability.
- Coordinate various phases of large engagements, including staff requirements, locations to be visited, and scheduling.
- Provide high-level technical expertise to team members by staying abreast of industry standards and conducting in-house continuing education seminars.
- Understand client satisfaction to ensure retention while also identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional services and establish new business through contacts, referrals, and projects.
- Ensures that all documentation required for Quality Control and Peer Review assignments.
- Coach & develop team members through performance management, real-time feedback, and addressing their educational needs.
- Participate in staff interviews while advocating for the firm's values and mission.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university and/or equivalent years of experience
- CPA license required
- Minimum 5 years of audit experience
- Industry-specific knowledge
- Previous experience managing work teams required
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Valid State Driver’s License required
