What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Stockroom position at Wildman Business Group, LLC?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Quits and Exchanges (Q&E): Check-in uniforms from routes that have been stopped; grade uniforms to determine if they need re-stocked or ragged; and restock uniforms to proper locations
- Hemmer and Unpacker: Hem all uniforms that are needed using sewing machine; restock uniforms and match up uniforms to go on the line; unpack new garment/uniforms coming in from vendors; inspect garments for quality; ID uniforms with heat seal; and fill in putting on emblems as needed.
- Embroidery and Emblems: Embroider items as needed; apply emblems to clothes; unpack new garments/uniforms coming in from vendors; inspect garments for quality; and restock uniforms.
- Quality Check-out: Scans uniforms out and ties off; checks for accuracy of new customer orders as assigning the uniforms to route, customer, and individual user; comprehend and follow written packing instructions or work orders to recognize color, sizes, and counts; ID uniforms with heat seal; unpack new garments/uniforms coming in from vendors; inspect garments for quality; restock uniforms.
- Maintain work area, clean and clear of debris or obstructions; includes cleaning work area table tops and wrapping machines with approved cleaning supplies.
- Maintain productivity logs or reports.
- Follow written and verbal instructions and perform other tasks as directed by supervisor.
- Must observe and comply with all Company safety and health policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Effectively communicates in English or through an interpreter. Have adequate computer skills or ability to learn.
- Related laundry experience preferred. Strongly prefer ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain work in organized manner.
