Essential Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintains clean and sanitary conditions in areas as directed, according to established standards, observing proper cleaning and disinfecting technique.
- Cleans floors, carpets and performs emergency housekeeping when accidents occur.
- Cleans bathrooms, walls, Windows, stairways, doors, ceilings.
- Performs terminal cleaning duties as established by facility policy.
- Removes waste and disposes properly.
- May perform laundry duties including transporting linens.
Requirements:
- Cleaning or housekeeping experience helpful.
- Detail oriented.
- Experience in nursing home, hospital or retirement community preferred, but not necessary.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
