POSITION: Interpreter Clerk-Bilingual in Spanish
DIVISION: Community Health Center
WAGES: Grade 7 Hourly Wages ($13.45-20.98)
BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Candidate will perform community and medical consecutive oral interpreting and sight translation. Works in a variety of public healthcare settings. Schedule Tuesday through Thursday 10:00am-6:00pm, Friday 8:30am-4:30pm, and Saturday 7:30am-3:30pm.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent. Candidate must have one (1) year as an Interpreter/translator in Healthcare or Social Service environment. Successful completion of Interpreter bilingual assessment.
REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License, minimum auto liability insurance. Verification of U.S. citizenship or employment eligibility.
DESIRED: Spanish writing skills.
