Construction Manager I:

The Construction Manager will be in the field, working onsite with our construction management and inspection teams. This role is vital in the planning, coordination and execution of natural gas pipeline projects, and regards safety as the highest priority!

Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Leads field inspection activities as the designated Chief Inspector on assigned projects
- Performs welding inspections as a Williams-qualified Welding Inspector to ensure compliance with standards
- Supports fabrication and welding quality assurance at the Rock Springs fabrication shop
- Coordinates with project teams to verify construction quality and adherence to safety protocols
- Travels to project sites and remains on location for extended durations as needed for project completion
- Assists in front end construction planning, estimate development and analysis and contract management
- Assists with QA/QC staffing plans, construction cost/schedule management and liaison activities with our business partners
- Provides input on contracting strategy and contractor qualification/selection
- Reviews contractor schedules, execution plans, and extra work claims
- Develops and runs construction progress reporting
- Performs audits of inspection processes and documentation requirements
- Assists in construction closeout
- Provides onsite leadership to our inspection team

Construction Manager I:
- Required: High School Diploma/GED and CDT (CSI) Certification
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science or Construction Management
- Required: High School Diploma/GED; minimum of three (3) years’ related experience and CDT (CSI) Certification
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science or Construction Management
Ability to:
- Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
- Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed
- Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time
- Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
- Use hand tools
- Demonstrates expertise in API 1104 welding processes and inspection requirements
- Holds or obtains Williams welding inspector certification
- Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
