What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Coordinator position at Willis Knighton Health?
The Patient Care Coordinator for the Cancer Center is responsible for supervision of all nursing care and leadership of the outpatient chemotherapy department. Some responsibilities of this position include:
- Maintaining appropriate levels of staffing to meet the patient care needs based on census
- Promoting an environment in which the patient care team can work cooperatively toward achieving objectives
- Overseeing the employee and patient education programs
- Acting as a liaison between nursing staff and the Chief Nursing Officer
- Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
- Consistently using the C.I.CARE framework to communicate with patients, guests, and colleagues
This position requires a current RN license in Louisiana. Strong communication skills including customer service and conflict resolution are required.
