Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated dispatcher for our Service/Warranty Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching service technicians to various customer locations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, prioritize, and schedule service/warranty requests from customers.
- Dispatch service technicians to customer sites based on location, skill set and availability.
- Monitor service calls and provide updates customers regarding arrival times.
- Maintain accurate records of service requests, technician assignments, and job completion status.
- Communicate with customers to gather necessary information and provide support as needed.
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure parts and equipment are available for scheduled jobs.
- Assist in resolving any scheduling conflicts or issues that arise during service calls.
- Provide administrative support to the service department, including data entry and other required tasks.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dispatching role, preferably within a service or maintenance industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using dispatching software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-stress situations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
