Description:
Under the direct supervision of the Radiation Oncology Manager and according to established policies and procedures, registers patients through the Radiation Oncology department, collects monies, and completes third party billing information. Work is of a confidential nature. Performs other work of the Department as required.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years of College preferred
- Knowledgeable with using computers
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate the exchange of information with patients, family members, and the radiation oncology treatment team as well as outside entities.
- Thinking and problem solving skills.
- Works independently, but in collaboration with the Radiation Oncology team.
