We are looking for a passionate and driven chef to lead our team creating delicious cuisine for all occasions ranging from 5 to 500 guests. The Executive Chef is responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen and provides professional leadership and direction to the entire kitchen team while maintaining a smooth flow of operations between departments. Responsibilities include: - uphold high quality control standards - ensure proper food handling techniques are used by all employees - train incoming team members - monitor food and labor costs - ensure all recipes, food preparations and presentations meet Wiltshire standards - maintain clean, efficient, and an organized kitchen - offer creative input on menus and special items - monitor kitchen staff to follow all recipes and proper portion sizes - place food and supply orders, maintain strong relationships with local farmers and purveyors - verify invoices on products received and insure freshness and quality of merchandise - demonstrate proper work example and professionalism for the entire team - active leader of the management team - manage staff throughout shift, weekly scheduling, and provide input on hiring new staff - perform additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested.
