What are the responsibilities and job description for the Title I position at Winchester School District?
Teacher certification is required or eligible for teacher certification.
Hours are Monday - Friday 7:25 - 2:05
Hourly position with benefits
Pay range depending on qualifications is $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed.
Ability to carry out oral and written instructions and to provide proper assistance to the supervisor assigned.
An understanding of the social, emotional, and intellectual characteristics of children.
Must be willing to maintain appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities.
Position requires a valid driver’s license, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. -
- Meet with small groups of students to implement reading or math objectives for the group or individual students.
-Coordinate with the classroom teachers concerning the student’s academic program and Title I needs.
-Provide feedback to reading specialist and consultant.
-Support students in the classroom when appropriate or as directed.
-Operates office machines and assists teachers with clerical duties.
-Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by the administrator.
-Performs other duties as required.
