What are the responsibilities and job description for the Peer Support Specialist position at Winds of Change?
Our Peer Support Specialist will facilitate or co-facilitate groups, work individually, or in small groups with peers and use their personal experience to enhance the relationship and mentor clients. Must be in recovery from a severe and disabling mental illness (SDMI) and/or co-occurring disorder and be willing to share the experience with members. Certification is preferred, but not required. Winds of Change is willing to provide certification.
