POSITION SUMMARY:
Working as a Fiberglass Repair employee in the Help Department, the primary function is to inspect and repair any cracks in the fiberglass helm.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Job requirements for our general production positions are as follows:
- At least 2 years' experience working in a team-focused manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Must have the ability to perform all physical requirements required of the position, including but not limited to: ability to stand, walk, push, pull, bend, kneel, climb, squat for 8 hours and lift upward of 40 lbs.
- Must possess good work ethic, positive attitude, and motivated to meet and / or exceed production goals.
- Ability to work flexible hours (overtime / weekends) if needed.
- Flexibility to take on additional assignments given by supervisor as required / needed to support production goals.
- Great attendance record and reliability
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and background screening
Specialized skills for this position include the following:
- Fiberglass Inspection:
- Conduct thorough inspections of pontoon boat fiberglass components to identify damages, cracks, or imperfections.
- Document findings and communicate with the quality control team to ensure compliance with production standards.

Repair and Restoration:
- Employ advanced fiberglass repair techniques to restore damaged pontoon boat components to their original strength and appearance.
- Utilize appropriate materials, tools, and equipment for fiberglass repair, including resins, cloth, fillers, and specialized tools.
- Surface Preparation:
- Prepare surfaces for repair by cleaning, sanding, and removing contaminants to ensure optimal adhesion of fiberglass materials.
- Mask off and protect surrounding areas to prevent damage during the repair process.

Color Matching and Finishing:
- Mix and match gel coats, pigments, and additives to achieve accurate color matching for seamless repairs.
- Apply finishing touches to repaired areas, ensuring a smooth and aesthetically pleasing surface.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other departments such as production, quality control, and design to address specific repair requirements and maintain consistent boat quality.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other relevant stakeholders.
