SKI - Attendant, Rental Shop

JOB DESCRIPTION

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Rental Shop Attendants are responsible for fitting guests with rental equipment, advising them in proper use and care of equipment, and monitoring the return of equipment. Shop Attendants will also assist with locker rentals, basket room storage, and maintaining a clean and organized rental shop.

Immediate promotion to a Lead Position is available based on performance.

SPECIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be capable of dealing with guests in a safe, friendly, and positive manner.  Considered applicants must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Applicants must be 16 years of age or older.

This is Seasonal Full Time or Part Time positions. Position will begin late November/early December and will end mid-March 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds and capable to stand for extended periods of time.

SPECIFIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBLITIES

• Lead by example for a safe work environment.
• Smile and greet guests in a friendly manner.
• Report to work on time for all scheduled shifts.
• Must be in uniform when on duty.
• Maintain an orderly passenger traffic flow in a safe manner.
• Follow all opening, closing, and daily operating procedures.
• Advise and assist passengers as required.
• Maintain surveillance of his/her area.
• Prepare lift for opening under direction of Lift Operator.
• Keep work area neat and clean.
• Must follow policies and procedures outlined in the Wintergreen Handbook.
• Able to take on additional tasks and assignments assigned by the manager.
