Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists customers with pricing and availability, order processing, and order status to all assigned customers/accounts.
- Conducts sales calls via phone or in-person to build and grow relationships
- Responds to all communication (e.g. email, phone calls, faxes, letters) from customers and acts accordingly
- Maintains and increases customer satisfaction by prompt responses.
- Communicates with sales manager/general manager to escalate critical customer issues, as necessary.
- Proactively advises customer of any changes to original commitments and follows up until completion.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of Wisconsin Steel & Tubes capabilities, and core competencies to upsell, and grow existing accounts with current products and services offered.
- Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
- Supports cross-functional teams that focus on managing our customers
- Participates on improvement teams as necessary
- Follows and complies with all safety regulations, work rules, and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
Requires associates degree; or one-year relevant experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience.
