Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists customers with pricing and availability, order processing, and order status to all assigned customers/accounts.
  • Conducts sales calls via phone or in-person to build and grow relationships
  • Responds to all communication (e.g. email, phone calls, faxes, letters) from customers and acts accordingly
  • Maintains and increases customer satisfaction by prompt responses.
  • Communicates with sales manager/general manager to escalate critical customer issues, as necessary.
  • Proactively advises customer of any changes to original commitments and follows up until completion.
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of Wisconsin Steel & Tubes capabilities, and core competencies to upsell, and grow existing accounts with current products and services offered.
  • Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
  • Supports cross-functional teams that focus on managing our customers
  • Participates on improvement teams as necessary
  • Follows and complies with all safety regulations, work rules, and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
. Requirements:

Education and/or Experience:

Requires associates degree; or one-year relevant experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Microsoft Office Products)
