Hiring: MariaDB DBA (Onsite | USC & GC Only)
We are seeking an experienced MariaDB Database Administrator to support enterprise-scale retail systems in a fast-paced, production-critical environment. This is a hands-on, onsite role for a strong DBA who can own MariaDB operations end to end.
Location, Duration & Work Model
- Location: Bentonville, AR
- Work Model: 100% Onsite (Mandatory)
- Duration: 6 months
- Work Authorization: US Citizens & Green Card holders only (strict requirement)
Job Summary
The MariaDB DBA will be responsible for administration, performance tuning, high availability, replication, and database reliability across production and development environments. The role requires deep expertise in MariaDB internals, Linux systems, backup/recovery, and operational excellence.
Must-Have (Non-Negotiable) Skills
- Strong hands-on experience as a MariaDB DBA
- Expertise in installation, upgrades, patching, backup & recovery
- Deep understanding of MariaDB internals, storage engines, transactions & locking
- Experience managing users, roles, security, encryption & access controls
- Strong knowledge of replication, monitoring, and high availability
- Performance tuning expertise (disk, memory, batch jobs, queries)
- Hands-on experience with Linux / RHEL commands
- Experience supporting production & development environments
- Ability to work onsite in Bentonville, AR
- USC or GC only
