Compliance Intern

Description

Note:  We are looking for either 1 intern who will work both spring and summer  (late February/early March to Mid-August) or 2 interns, one for spring (working late February/early March to mid-May) and one working (mid-May to mid- August)

Overview

This individual will work closely with the Regional Vice President and Compliance Staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with updating compliance procedures.
• Assist with Creating Training PowerPoint.
• Proofread documents for clarity and accuracy.
• Monitor state agency websites to ensure we are using the most up-to-date forms and

           policies.

• Track, review, and prepare utility allowances as directed including contacting PHA’s.
• Prepare and update rent schedules with income, rent and utility allowances as directed.
• Update income limits as directed.
• Assist with other duties as assigned
