What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric LPN/RN position at Woodbridge Pediatrics?
Woodbridge Pediatrics is looking to hire a Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN) or a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our office. We seek candidates who will thrive in a busy, fast-paced pediatric practice, who loves kids, relates well with families, and is a team player who can work 4 days per week plus 2 Saturday mornings a month. Bilingual in Spanish preferred, pediatric experience preferred. Previous EMR (eClinical) helpful.
Job Duties:
- Prepares patients for examination and treatment. Takes and records history and vital signs.
- Maintains exam rooms by stocking necessary supplies and materials as determined by practice protocol and physician preferences.
- Prepares and administers patient injections, processes in-house labs, and prepares lab samples to be sent out to Quest or Labcorp.
- Collects, labels and processes specimens.
- Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatment.
- Triage patients by phone.
- Maintains patient confidentiality.
- Responsible for some administrative functions, such as completing health forms.
- Performing preventative testing such as hearing, vision, and ocular screenings.
