Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Bookkeeper to join our progressive accounting team. In this role, you will maintain accurate financial records, assist with month-end processes, and support clients using cloud-based accounting tools. Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients using cloud-based platforms (e.g., QuickBooks Online, etc)
- Record and reconcile bank and credit card transactions with high accuracy
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports
- Collaborate with CPAs and Client Manager to support tax filings
- Work closely with the tax team to learn tax filings and client filings
- Maintain digital records in accordance with data privacy and compliance standards
- Communicate with clients and vendors in a timely, professional manner
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, ideally in a client-service or firm environment
- Proficient with cloud-based accounting software (MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH QBO) and Google Suite
- Experience with automation tools and workflows preferred
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset
- Certification in QuickBooks Online or Xero
- Familiarity with APIs, data imports/exports, or financial dashboards
- Experience in a paperless, remote-friendly work environment
