What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cafe Team Member position at Worship Center?
CAFE TEAM MEMBER
Responsible for exceptional customer service at the point-of-sale area as well as skilled to assist in coffee service. This person reports to the Food Services Manager.
SCHEDULE
Part-time hourly position, 12 hours weekly. Must be able to work a varied schedule, Mon-Thur 8:00 am-4:30 pm, plus every other Sunday during services.
EXPERIENCE & ABILITIES
- Education: Minimum High School graduate.
- Experience: Previous hospitality, cashier, or food service experience in a food service area.
- License/Certification: n/a
- Specific Abilities: Skill in working as part of a team. Excellent communication and interactive skills as they relate to people of all ages. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Operate a touch screen computer terminal in a high volume setting. Working knowledge of math and cash handling.
WHAT THIS PERSON DOES
- Provide consistently excellent customer service.
- Prepare made-to-order food for individuals, events, and catering.
- Make coffee and espresso drinks and smoothies.
- Proper set up and tear down of cafe.
- Maintain dining area and kitchen cleanliness according to safe serve practices throughout shift.
- Assist with various events, and solo as well.
- Work as a team member with kitchen personnel.
- Willingness to shift roles as dictated by customer traffic flow/demands.
