Description

Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate a variety of activities and programs for residents in an assisted living facility.
- Develop and implement engaging activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
- Collaborate with caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care for residents.
- Coordinate and facilitate social events, outings, and recreational activities.
- Provide dementia care support and implement therapeutic interventions for residents with memory loss.
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure a positive and inclusive environment.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in assisted living or caregiving is preferred.
- Knowledge of event planning and recreational therapy techniques.
- Familiarity with dementia care practices and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Understanding of the needs and challenges faced by residents in a nursing home or assisted living setting.
- Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field is preferred but not required.

Salary: $18.00 per hour
