Job Description
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant technical experience required and 1 year of industry experience preferred. Strong interpersonal skills required to effectively interact with internal and external contacts as well as strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to take direction from superiors and contribute to departmental discussions regarding problem solving required. Requires the ability to efficiently and effectively work in a team environment. Requires strong analytical and problem skills. Must have a good understanding of networking of computers and other devices in a business environment. Must have demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment involving difficult situations.
• Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, or electronically.
• Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.
• Assist the Systems Administrator in the installation, configuration, documentation, and maintenance of Company's Windows systems environment.
• Serves as the backup for any system related administration and troubleshooting.
• Handle the administration of Company's Active Directory, Virtual environment (Nutanix and VMware), SAN (PureStorage), server & client, and Windows Servers.
• Provide remote technical support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction.
• Monitor service desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process as assigned.
• Communicate and document technological solutions.
• Share client feedback with relevant team members and collaborate to ensure above expectation results.
• Exemplify teamwork in a highly visible, fast paced environment, with minimal supervision and act as an escalation point within the team.
• Other duties as assigned.
• I/S Support Processes: follow defined I/S support process including creating knowledge articles, providing assistance to other team members, and completing general help desk procedures.
• I/S Project Processes: demonstrate mid-level project lifecycle skills; follow defined I/S project execution standards including business process mapping notation and transformation, change control process, and software lifecycle.
• Execute mid-sized projects with limited support.
• Cross-Discipline Work: able to bridge gaps and work with different I/S disciplines (e.g. technical, functional, infrastructure).
Expected to continually expand scope of knowledge.
• Requires 7x24 support under general direction and support of senior team members.
