We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Service Provider to join our team. As a Direct Service Provider, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to individuals in need. *This job position is for a DSP to work in our Dardanelle group home, 24 hrs/wk, Sat & Sun, with the opportunity to work available shifts during the week for additional hours.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with various needs, including those with autism, IDD, or other medical conditions
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Implement care plans from individuals IHP & PCSP
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for individuals in your care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Direct Service Provider or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in direct support or social work is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals who may have complex needs
- Ability to follow instructions and implement care plans accurately
