Summary of Accountabilities
Responsible for answering telephones, routing calls, greeting visitors, and responding to inquiries from the public and providing information about the organization. In addition, responsible for the distribution and management of the company uniforms.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet customers, visitors, and guests; determine the purpose of each person’s visit and direct or escort them to the appropriate location
- Answer, screen and direct to staff all incoming calls through a multi-line phone system. Take messages as needed.
- Responsible for clerical duties to assist the human resources department.
- Maintain employee uniform orders. Returning uniforms to vendor and distributing uniform orders to employees.
- Maintain clothing closet. Distribute necessary Yingling clothing items to employees. Tracking distribution.
- Manage the transaction of all term badges, assuring receipts are received and provided to the Human Resources department for all term badges.
- Receive mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and deliver or distribute to the appropriate employees.
- Help to maintain security by monitoring the access of visitors to the workplace.
- Handle other miscellaneous clerical duties for other managers/officers.
- All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- Two years experience in reception or customer service preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Communication Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write clear, concise correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Good grammar and spelling skills.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
Additional Requirements or Skills
Computer Skills:
Proficient in MS office applications including word, excel, and Microsoft outlook.
Special Equipment Skills:
Experience using Meridian multi-line phone system preferred.
