The purpose of this position is to coordinate and plan production based on labor capacity availability and to develop production schedules and labor requirements in order to produce goods in a timely manner by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Schedules work centers based on available capacities.
- Pulls up Master Schedule to review capacity requirements for work centers.
- Confers with department Supervisors to determine status of scheduled projects.
- Expedites operations that have incurred delays to ensure on-time delivery.
- Provides data input into production/labor reports.
- Provides support and scheduling information to OMC and customer service reps and attends production scheduling meetings; places material orders for project requirements.
Education/Experience:
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in production operations, manufacturing or business management plus 1 - 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer a bachelor's degree.
