SUPERVISOR, FABRICATION

Essential Functions And Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrated ability to perform all job functions of all fabrication and positions.
• Ability to fabricate all types of doors and frames with complex custom hardware.
• Oversees incoming and outgoing fabricated order to ensure accuracy, completeness and special hardware requirements.
• Produce fabrication orders to lead fabricator with supporting documents.
• Provide fabrication schedule to Lead Fabricator.
• Update BPCS system with confirm dates to provide coordination with Order Fulfillment Supervisor.
• Place orders for special/custom hardware.
• Inspects and measures parts and products to verify conformance to specifications.
• Directs workers in adjusting machines and equipment to repair products which fail to meet standards.
• Interprets specifications, templates, and job orders for workforce.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules and productivity goals.
• Responsible for inventory accuracy/cycle counting in the fabrication areas.
• Responsible for housekeeping in warehouse and fabrication area and preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Maintain and comply to all company safety procedures and guidelines.
  
  

Qualifications And Skill Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 4 years in Fabrication or Shipping/Receiving with YKK AP or 6 years fabrication experience in a warehouse environment, plus 1 year of supervisory experience in a warehouse environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
