Responsibilities
- Assists in planning, some managing, and implementing of all departmental programs and activities.
- Assists and participates in marketing and special events.
- Assists in managing the departmental operations.
- Assists in interviewing, scheduling, disciplining, and supervising qualified staff.
- Maintain records of program participants.
- Assists in staff meetings.
- Be a team player with all associates.
- Must notify appropriate staff of any unsafe conditions, needed repairs, complaints, accidents, or injuries immediately.
- Assist in providing leadership of the Annual Mission Campaign.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum three years experience in this or a related field.
- Current YMCA or American Red Cross Lifeguard certification.
- American Red Cross certifications:
- Current First Aid.
- Current CPRPro (includes AED).
- Current Emergency Oxygen.
- Perform and pass rescue skills.
- Able to relate to people on all levels in a friendly and consistent manner.
Salary : $13 - $16
