What are the responsibilities and job description for the Counselor - School Age Child Care position at YMCA of Greater Richmond?

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is currently seeking enthusiastic Counselors for our Before and/or After School Child Care programs at Bellwood Elementary School.

Duties

Responsibilities include supervising and engaging with a group of school age children, and participating in group programs. Program hours are weekdays from 2-6pm.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a minimum of six months of child care experience, preferably in a licensed facility
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum age is 18

The Following Certifications Are Highly Desirable

CPR/AED Certification appropriate to age group
First Aid Certification
