Under the guidance of the Director of Grant Compliance, the Quality Standards Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all standards are met for all grant-funded Preschool and School Age Programs including compliance to provide high-quality service to children, parents, and support staff. This position includes recruitment and retention support, budgeting, compliance, community relations, and collaborations.
Salary: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

- Assist in the administration and compliance of programs including the interpretation and execution of established policies, the development of procedures and methods, and evaluation of the effectiveness of the programs and operation.
- Maintain records, compile information, and submit the necessary forms to keep agents licensed.
- Ensure the timely submission of materials to state agencies to obtain licenses promptly and efficiently.
- Conduct regular site visits for JWB related grants and report findings of non-compliance to the Director of Grant Compliance and Project Directors, including but not limited to, grant reporting, outcomes, and staffing considerations.
- Alongside the Director of Grant Compliance, work closely with Project Directors assigned to grants on training staff in grant reporting software, and monitor the appropriate data entry by YGSP staff of grant-related data in that software.
- Assist in evaluating grant program progress against target goals, and recommending modifications that respond to grant and association goals.
- Assist with the monitoring of the contract budgets and maintenance of budget trackers.
- Recommend adjustments and administer the budgets, exercising necessary controls to ensure operations are consistent with a balanced operational budget.
- Assist with internal and funder audits per program to ensure compliance.
- Represent and promote the YMCA in the local community and develop positive working relationships with other organizations, businesses, and governmental.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Minimum two years' work experience in one or more of the following areas: government grants, contracts, licensing, and/or accounting systems.
- Must be detailed oriented, organized, and able to maintain confidentiality, and meet deadlines.
- Must possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interact with individuals at all levels.
- Able to work with minimal direct supervision and exercise initiative.
